How POMA uses xLMS to make training a cornerstone of safety, performance and innovation<\/h1><\/div>

With xLMS, POMA is centralising its training and strengthening its safety culture at the heart of its international expansion.<\/h3><\/div>

For over 90 years, POMA has been transporting millions of passengers<\/b> around the world thanks to its unique expertise in cable transport.<\/p>\n

Safety, the reliability of the ski lifts and the quality of service are at the very heart of its DNA.<\/p>\n

To meet these requirements, POMA set up an in-house training centre<\/b> back in the 1980s, with the aim of ensuring that everyone involved in designing, operating or maintaining the installations could develop their skills. This is now the role of the POMA Academy. <\/p>\n

POMA Academy\u2019s mission operates within a demanding regulatory framework: the training enables POMA and its clients to meet the requirements of the Safety Management System (SMS)<\/b> and to demonstrate the skills of seasonal staff<\/b> to the STRMTG<\/b> (Technical Service for Ski Lifts and Guided Transport), the government body responsible for the regulation, inspection and safety of ski lifts and guided transport in France.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Already rolled out in 10 countries and in 6 languages, this system covers four key job roles (operations staff, drivers, technicians and managers).<\/p>\n
