DDA: How Abeille Assurances manages compliance for its employees and network on a large scale<\/span><\/h1><\/div>

By leveraging xLMS, Abeille Assurances is transforming the regulatory requirement for 15 hours of DDA training into a collaborative management system that combines compliance, autonomy and traceability.<\/h3><\/div>

With over 170 years of history and an extensive multi-channel network, Abeille Assurances <\/b>(part of the A\u00e9ma Group) operates within a unique ecosystem that brings together in-house staff and independent intermediaries. However, this highly effective model presents a real challenge when it comes to ensuring regulatory compliance across all relevant stakeholders. <\/p>\n

With over 14,000 learners from a wide range of backgrounds \u2014 general agents, brokers, advisers, head office staff and partners \u2014 the diversity of the network makes a standardised approach to monitoring essential. This network, which spans from branches to thousands of life insurance brokers, highlights the importance of automated and consolidated management within xLMS. <\/p>\n

Every year, the European Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD)<\/b> requires all insurance professionals to complete a minimum of 15 hours of certified training<\/b>. This is a mandatory requirement not only for Abeille\u2019s 4,200 employees, but also for external agents and partners. <\/p>\n

Problem: whilst the requirement is collective, the learning pathway remains individual \u2014 each learner is free to choose their own content. In this context, how can we ensure that everyone completes their 15 hours? How can we offer autonomy without losing control over regulatory risk? <\/p>\n<\/div>

The challenge: managing compliance on a large scale<\/h2><\/div>

Abeille Assurances had to balance three priorities:<\/p>\n
